German city forced to introduce cemetery etiquette guide

Council bosses in Munich have been forced to issue an official guide of what's allowed in cemeteries.

The new guide, issued after a series of complaints from shocked mourners, bans sex, nudity, parties and mini skirts in a bid to restore order.

Apart from their normal function people can use them to sit and read, jog through or just meditate. They can also sunbathe, but only when properly dressed and not in a bikini or swimming trunks, says the guide.

Munich council cemetery boss Kriemhild Poellath-Schwarz said: "Many people do not seem to be aware that they are in a cemetery and not a park. Others just don't seem to know how to behave themselves in a cemetery."

Do you really think the permanent residents care how the visitors act?
