Rollerman completes 1000ft mountain road descent in wheelie suit

French stuntman Jean-Yves Blondeau reached speeds of over 50mph racing down Tianmen Mountain in China in a specially designed rolling suit.

The self-styled "Rollerman" successfully completed the 6.5 mile run, which includes 99 hairpin bends, in under 20 minutes.

The inventor wore a 34-wheel roller suit for the stunt. As it is unpowered, Blondeau had to use his body to steer and adjust his speed down the steep road.

After crossing the finish line on this knees, the 42-year-old French designer jumped up and punched the air. "Everything is okay. Just a strap went out. The wheels are still a little bit warm, but everything is still okay," Blondeau said.
